from gameinformer.com:
Activision started off the week with a brand new game announcement – debuting Secret Service – which will be released later this year for the Xbox 360, Playstation 2 and PC.
As one would expect, in Secret Service you take on the role of an elite agent who lives to protect American leadership. The story begins on Inauguration Day in D.C when the capitol is attacked. The game is described as being a tactical first-person action game which will throw negotiation out the window.
“This game is a unique addition to the first person action genre, with a rich storyline set across famous locations and the need to use both lethal and non-lethal force to achieve your objectives,” said Dave Oxford, Activision Publishing. “Secret Service brings a nice refreshing spin to fans of run-and-gun games.”
Activision makes a point to advertise that the Secret Service video game is in no way authorized or endorsed by the real U.S. Secret Service. No specific publishing date has been announced, but when it releases you will be able to get your hands on the Xbox 360 version for $39.99, the Playstation 2 version for $29.99 and the PC version for a cool $19.99.
hm. very interesting.

Good call. I wonder if the grassy gnoll will be a photo-realistic rendering, or if there will actually be shooters there as well... I don't much care so long as further along in the game you get to protect Ozzie Smith as he walks around with Bruce Campbell fihting mummies a la Bubba Ho-Tep.
