DICE, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio, announced the development of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the sequel to 2008’s game that followed a four-man squad of AWOL soldiers in a fictional war with Russia.

Although details of the military misfits’ next mission are scarce, the “B” company will bear down in snow-filled mountaintops, thick jungles, and windy villages. Plenty of weapons and vehicles will once again be at your disposal.

“Bad Company 2 takes everything that players liked in the original and ups the ante – more vehicles, more destruction and more team play,” said Karl Magnus Troedsson, Executive Producer of Battlefield Franchise, DICE.

The first Bad Company provided solid action and high energy. Anything that ups this ante is certainly worth keeping on radar. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this winter.
