Yesterday we posted a story on how Left 4 Dead's online co-op and multiplayer modes are falling prey to a number of wild hacks and cheats. Now Kotaku is reporting that Valve has already pushed out a fix for these problems.
According to Valve, they've already applied a fix to dedicated servers that should take care of all the cheats. For those who are playing on user-hosted servers, the developer says a title update is in the works and should be released on Xbox Live "in the coming days."
It's great that they were able to push these fixes out so quickly, although I've got to admit I'll sort of miss seeing giant players with infinitely spawning molotov cocktails. Alas, the video above will have to remain as our final reminder of what once was.
