Today, MTV announced that the Doggfather himself, Snoop D-O-Double-G, is coming to Rock Band. As part of a massive deal with MTV, which will debut a new variety talk show, "Dogg After Dark," to the airwaves February 17, Snoop will have an unspecified number of songs from his back catalogue released as downloadable tracks for Rock Band.

The deal includes distribution rights for Snoop's next album, Malice in Wonderland, which is set to drop later this year. It's unknown if tracks from the new album will be made available for Rock Band, but our fingers are crossed.

why might i ask? kuz snoop needs $?
